DC Acoustic is a duo which features the unmistakable voice of singer/songwriter and producer Dino Jag La Vista on lead vocals and acoustic guitar together with some very special guests.
Dino is fast becoming a recognised name in the international music world. In the days of reality talent shows such as X Factor and Pop Idol, Dino Jag is somewhat of a coherent source of inspiration for other aspiring musicians. It´s been a long and varied journey, where Dino has traveled disparate musical terrains with an insatiable thirst for fresh sounds and vibrant energy.
When Dino first erupted onto the Australian music scene with the reworking of the classic Stevie Wonder hit, "Superstition", little did the world know how far this dude from "the City of Churches" would go to confound the public. Hailing from South Australia, Dino is one of music´s true mavericks and one of Australia´s best exports. A talented individual with a voice to match! Whilst performing with funk/rock band Stolen Waters (1995-1998), Dino was nominated "Best Male Vocalist" for three consecutive years at the South Australiain Music Industry Award´s (SAMIA). Prior to that, many would´ve unknowingly heard Dino´s voice featured on many local & national radio & TV campaigns.
His writing & remixing style has also given Dino the opportunity to work on projects with some of the world´s greatest musicians & recording artists such as Ray Columbus, Sir Paul McCartney, Rusty Anderson & most recently, with Australian icon Barry Crocker. As a live performer, Dino has shared the stage with a diversity of artists including Screaming Jets, Richie Sambora, Chocolate Starfish, Sammy Hagar, Boom Crash Opera, Don Burrows, James Morrison, Steve Vai...
In a shift of dynamic energy, Dino has also recently been entertaining a broad array of audiences with his live acoustic act DC Acoustic.
